Welcome! Let's start with a story ....
We were married April 13th. We had the best wedding. We both were married before so this time it was for Us ... We both wanted something intimate, romantic, meaningful and within our spiritual realm. We wanted someone that really believed in marriage and would give the type of intimacy into a ceremony we wanted ... Debbie made that a reality. She sent us the different ceremonies that she does and the ideas behind all of them. She also sent us a rough version of the ceremony so we could change or add words. We didn't have to change anything, actually I cried the first time I read them, the verbiage in a few areas was so "Joe", I couldn't help but be emotional (and they never met before).
We were married in front of a beautiful warm crackling fireplace, with Debbie our officiant, our two witnesses, Sandy and Dean and our photographer, Melissa. Debbie arrived and I had to smile, as a bride you want everything to go well and to color flow.... Well, my flowers were purple iris, and Debbie had on a lavender scarf.
We had chosen the hand and the sand ceremony. Joe and I had to laugh when we got to see the pictures from the wedding, one shows Debbie and the two of us, Debbie was doing the sand ceremony and the intent look on both of our faces was priceless. The ceremony held every component we wanted, intimate, romantic, meaningful and spiritual. Thank you to Debbie for making our ceremony exactly the way we wanted.

Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies & Renewing of Vows
I am a Wedding Officiant, licensed in the State of Minnesota. It is an honor to officiate for all couples, and I'm grateful the State of Minnesota recognizes marriage equality.
My specialty is geared to couples who choose to have heart-to-heart ceremonies ... my role as your Wedding Officiant is focusing on your vows to each other - and how your ceremony will honor the two of you.
Traditional, Non-Traditional, Spiritual, Non-Spiritual, Casual, Formal ... what do you want?!
I look forward to meeting you, spending time getting to know your story and what is important to the two of you.
You may want to write your own vows, find readings and music that ring true to you. I also have a variety of options for you to consider and tailor, to fit your celebration beautifully.
A Wedding! Congratulations! The love you have for each other is like no other. You're confident in wanting to spend your lives together, sharing all life has to offer. Growing, giving, receiving, forgiving, thanking, laughing, talking, crying ... loving. I am here for you.
Commitment Ceremonies, are wonderful for couples who can't or choose not to get legally married. "I love you", are the most amazing and important words in the world. A Commitment Ceremony is not a legal or binding contract. Yet, you are in love and it's for real - through thick and thin, you want to be with the person who makes the world a better place - including yours. You feel it's important to commemorate and honor your relationship to each other and share this time with loved ones. I look forward to discussing ways we can make this day special and unique.
Renewing your vows, is done for a variety of reasons. It's a wonderful affirmation of love for each other, as you've truly experienced the good times and bad ... and love has kept you together! Re-creating your wedding, or putting a completely different spin on this celebration is entirely up to you. It can be quiet and intimate or a big party with family and friends. Whatever you choose, it will be a privilege and honor for all who are present, to witness your wonderful re-declaration of love for one another.
Keep children in mind ... often times, including your children in the ceremony, is a beautiful way to bring families together.
Therapeutic Massage & Reiki
In 1990 I became certified in Swedish Massage in St. Anthony, MN. For over 22 years, I continue to be amazed at the benefits clients receive with massage, energy work and prayer. I've been a Reiki practitioner since 2005. All the work I do with clients is with the knowledge I am simply a person with a variety of learned skills. I have a passion for helping you feel better, realizing, God's right in the middle of it! Truly, this documented health benefit embraces body, mind and spirit. All you have to do is: make an appointment and show up ... then, close your eyes and breathe. It's very, very simple! Receiving, I find, is the hardest part for many. We are much better 'givers' than 'receivers', because we are more in control when we give ... and vulnerable when we receive. Trust me, in order to fill up your body, mind and spirit - it's ok to accept and enjoy the healing benefits of massage and Reiki!
Meditation Sessions
If you are wanting to learn more about - and experience the practice of meditation, I offer individual sessions.
There many studies showing the emotional, physical and spiritual benefits with meditation. We live in a world filled with stress and meditation is an excellent practice to bring greater health, peace, clarity, & happiness into your life. One of the biggest obstacles people have with meditation, is making time to do it. I provide the opportunity for you to take time - gather information, and see if this is something that will make your life better!
I have been practicing - ebbing & flowing - with meditation for over 30 years.
