Introduction to Meditation
Monday, March 22
Meditation decreases
the negative effects of stress, mild depression and anxiety and can help lower
blood pressure. It can also be used as a way to develop a deeper relationship
with God, as you are not doing all the talking, you are being still and
listening - which is an essential component in any relationship. We will discuss
the correlation's of health and silence and relax using breathing techniques,
the gift of visualization and the power of prayer and intention.

. . . is a form of Goal
Setting. Discussion will include action steps to accomplish
goals. Participants use a poster board to draw, paste photos, words &
quotes that represent the variety of objectives wishing to be achieved. It
expresses thought and desire in a more tangible art form, enabling a process of
action to occur.
Impact of Energies on Our Body
Monday, April 12
What we think and expose
ourselves to, creates the energy that surrounds us throughout the day. This
energy greatly determines the impact of our health - physically, emotionally and
spiritually. Tonight, we will address 7 centers of energy in our bodies from
the base of the spine to the top of our head, becoming aware of influences that
can enhance our well-being.
